"Legend of the Dinosaurs" was apparently Toei Studios' highest budgeted production at the time. This particular title illustration took a lot longer than originally expected, between its complex elements, and family business getting in the way.as usual. Or "Legend of Dinosaurs and Monster Birds" if you want to do what Japan does all the time, and have a crappy, long-winded title, that leaves an embarrassed taste in your American mouth.Īnd to keep a uniform look from his previous tribute to Ray Harryhausen, I once again offer my artistic services for his episode's title card.
